So it's been awhile - over 3 months since I checked to be exact.  I'll give myself a little bit of a break since A LOT has been going on around here.  I'm also going to try to post short posts more frequently but don't hold your breath :)

1.  Graham says Bye Bye to his first home!  YEAH!  Took us about 30 days which is really good in the scheme of it all but when you have a baby (a very messy baby) 30 days is an eternity.  We closed on March 15th, leased back for a month and decided Graham, Elvis and I would move out to my parents while Jake got an apartment close to his office.  So...we packed up the pod, moved Jake into the apartment, moved me and the boys out to Hudson Oaks and said Farewell to Town Hill Lane.

2.  Graham Gets Mobile.  He is pretty much a boy - into everything ALL THE TIME.  Its rather exhausting to be honest but at least he keep me busy.  He has the most unusual crawl - an army crawl typically done with Elvis's toys his in his hands.  Not sure if he will ever do a traditional hands and knees crawl but this way is MUCH cuter.  He also has started pulling up on things which began at about 10 months.  Pretty sure he is only a month or so away from walking which is scary!

3.  Graham Gets A Haircut!  This one is out of order but it was interesting to say the least.  Momma ended up sweating by the time it was all done but G got a cute new do and no one lost an ear.  Haircut was done before his 9 month pics - which were adorable.  All and all a success.

4.  Graham and Elvis are still besties (although it might be a one sided relationship as Graham's idea of fun is to pull Elvis's hair...)  His first word was even "bubba" - which is Elvis's middle name :)

5.  Emme and Poppy got a new pool and this water baby LOVES to splash!

6.  Say Cheese!  I don't think we got even one real smile out of this little boy during his 9 month pics but they still turned out presh!

Awful Blogger - Catch up session

Okay so I admit I am an awful blogger...but not without what I think are very good excuses...ie. taking care of a very mobile little one, constantly cleaning the house while it's been on the market and of course catching up on a little TV here and there when G goes to nap :)  Don't judge :)

Graham just turned 8 months.  Yes 8 MONTHS and I am kinda freaking out.  Where did the time go?  Seems like just yesterday he was so tiny and now he is scooting around the house, eating dog toys, pulling on wires and pretty much getting into just about everything he is not supposed to.  Time is flying faster than I would like so this is my reminder to slow down, take each of these precious moments in because he will be off to school before I know it :(

Since it literally been since January I am going to do my best to make this a quick catch up session while G naps.

Speaking of naps (please don't let this jinx me) Graham has become quite the consistent sleeper.  Goes to bed around 8, wakes around around 7 and takes two good naps a day.  Kinda makes me forget all about those endless nights of waking up at all hours...kinda makes me ready to do all this again with another...did I just say that?!?!

He also has 5 teeth...that I know of.  He hates to show me so it is really tough to pry the t sweet mouth open and get a glimpse!

We started gymnastics class at the Little Gym and Graham LOVES it.  He literally squeals with excitement every time we are there and of course is exhausted when we leave so while the class is ridiculously pricey that is a free bonus!  YAY!  Here are a few pics of class and him and his bud Owen.

We also took a trip down to Brenham a few weeks back and Graham had a great time hanging with Nana B, Aunt Dan and Cousin RH.  He sure is sad she doesn't live closer :(

Graham also celebrated his first Valentines Day.  He was so good with the rose for about 5 seconds and then he ate it.  Oh well.  My Love.

Graham's First Home

Well it's official we are selling our first home.  We LOVE this home - pretty much everything about it.  I'm not gonna lie I got a bit emotional when I saw the sign in the yard this morning.

While I am a little sad to be selling Graham's first home and leave such a convenient location the thought of moving closer to Jake's office will definitely be worth it.

A move up north will take Jake's commute from over an hour every night to about 10 minutes.  I know Graham Graham is going to be thrilled to be able to spend some additional special time with his daddy.

Some pics of our first home...

A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Graham had a wonderful first Christmas, filled with fun, laughter and lots and lots of kisses!  He also went to church for the very first time and was a good boy through the whole service!  Pops and Granmom came in a couple days before Christmas and we had a great time hanging out and relaxing.  Graham got lots of new toys and enjoyed the visit.

Poppy and Emme came over on Christmas day and we pretty much did the same thing...lots of relaxing, cooked some steaks, had some wine and "tried" to watch a Christmas movie:)  Jake and I wanted to start a tradition of watching a Christmas movie on Christmas Eve so we put G to sleep (after reading the night before Christmas), poured some wine and put in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.  Because Graham hadn't had the best sleep patterns in the previous months I kept turning the tv volume down so low no one could hear. At one point I looked over at my mom and Pat and busted out laughing hysterically because they were so nice trying to enjoy the movie given that they couldn't hear a single word of it!  Nevertheless we decided to save it till the morning and call it a night!

Graham woke up at midnight as expected - probably because he heard santa and we all had Christmas the next morning!  Again G got lots of toys, lots of kisses and had lots of fun.  Graham's favorite gift of all is his new toy box that his Poppy built for him - he knows his mommy likes things in there place and it is perfect for keeping all those little toys contained!

Couple of pics from the Holiday festivities!
